Brazil v Argentina World Cup qualifier match 2021: Fifa regrets on match suspension

FIFA has launched an investigation into the suspension of Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Argentina. FIFA president Gianni Infantino tells that, the way health officials and law enforcement officers entered  the field during the match,and tried to get some players out from field that was 'unexpected and insane'.

The match between these two rivals began on time at Paolo's Corinthians Stadium on Sunday. But five minutes of  the match was finally postponed due to the intervention of the Brazilian health department.

Because of four Argentine players have disrupted the quarantine guidelines. An hour before the start of  the match, several media outlets, including Reuters, reported that the four Argentine players requsted by the Brazilian health department to stay in isolation  at the hotel. 

Nevertheless, they have noticed them on the field they are Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, Tottenham Hotspur defender  Christian Romero and midfielder Giovani Lo Celso. Local health authorities entered the field in the 5 minutes of the match.

The Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency said non-Brazilians like Britain, Northern Ireland, South Africa or India, can not enter into Brazil without permission. Those who have been exempted must notify the authorities when they're arrive (in Brazil) and must remain in quarantine for 14 days.

Notwithstanding, the Argentine coach Lionel Scaloni stated that the team has not been definitively instructed concerning this. Argentine Captain Lionel Messi also said exactly the same thing to the health officials.

FIFA said, they received the match referee's report and  trying to gather more information about this match. The world governing body of football said in a statement that possible action would be taken after analyzing them.

Also said that, "We have seen what occurred in the match among Brazil and Argentina, these two teams are them most radiant teams in South America area. Some officers, police, security personnel entered the field just minutes after the start of the game to pick up some players - this is a crazy incident. But, we need to manage these difficulties, the issues that start coming out in the midst of crisis".
